We are recruiting!

Are you looking for a guild?  Step right in, friend; find yourself a comfy chair and some chocolate cake!

Here in Restoration, we're hoping to have more fresh-faced - or even gnarly veteran - Norrathian adventurers come and join our friendly fellowship, especially those who are just beginning their careers after arriving in Qeynos as a bewildered refugee.

Want to know what we stand for? Take a look at our Charter archive.  If you hear explosions while you're reading it, don't panic; it's just our resident alchemist experimenting in the lab.

Want to know what would be expected of you as a recruit?  That's easy!  We'd want you to be happy and comfortable with the guild and with the guild's 'house rules'.  Have a careful read of those; you'll find them near the charter.  Mind the puddles of spilt ink; it's the cleaner's day off.

If you like what you see and hear (apart from the explosions), then what should you do next?  Find a pen and scribble down an application for our Guildhall Registrar, then catch the eye of one of our officers: Kade, Kardell, Kruqk, or Linestral.  Kade is the shiny one; it's not his fault, he's a paladin.  Actually, Kruqk is shiny too. Don't look at them in direct sunlight unless you have some kind of tinted gnomish eyepiece.

If you would like to leave messages for any kin of Restoration, our resident scribe, Master Clennan, will be glad to receive you in the Visitors' Halls.  Pass keys to the member areas are available for new members, once they've joined.

Restoration is an immersive roleplay guild on the Antonia Bayle server of EQ2 and is founded on the principles of friendship, cooperation and fun. 

We are dedicated to enjoying all the elements that the game and marvelously rich community of AB  have to offer: raiding, questing, feasting, drinking, hunting, exploring and preventing the slow, steady creep of the Freeportian Menace!

Are we what you're looking for? Broadly summed up:

We don't use L33T speech;
Our /gu is 100% in character at all times, as is spatial conversation;
/ooc chat is available in an optional custom channel, preserving immersion for those that want it;
We encourage members to group - both in the guild and in our alliance - but don't coerce anyone to do this;
 Solo or duo players are welcome...bots, farmers and silent hydras are not;
Grouping and raiding happens regularly, especially within the larger structure of the alliance;
and last, but by no means least
WE ROLEPLAY AND HAVE FUN!
